I qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2013 having had a a modestly successful athletic career in middle distance running - in particular cross country and road running. I represented Great Britain at the World and European Cross Country Championships, and England in Cross Country and road races.
Having experienced a range of injuries (foot, ankle, hip and back!) throughout the years, I have dedicated the next chapter in my life to helping others through Sports Massage.
I keep up-to-date with the latest techniques through the Sport Massage Association where I am a full-time member. As part of this I spend at least 40 hours per year attending courses and keeping my skills up-to-date.- note: results may vary
I served in the Army for 22 years and whilst in the forces became a Physical Training Instructor and was involved with various sports teams which led to my interest in the rehabilitation and treatment of sports injuries.
I qualified as a Sports Therapist in 2004 and as Personal Trainer and Sports Masseur in 2005. At that time I was working as a Therapist with professional golfers and semi-professional footballers at Salisbury City and Aldershot Town.
I am committed to developing my skills all the time and I am now studying for my Level 5 Higher Diploma in Advanced Sports Therapy. I am a member of the Sports Massage Association and the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
I specialise in traditional massage and soft tissue therapy and include Myofascial Release, Osteopathic Articulations and Dry Needling in my treatment plans. Due to my extensive knowledge of the anatomy I tailor each treatment plan to the individual and work closely with patients to build rehabilitation plans to speed recovery times.- note: results may vary
